Why Did We Change Our Name?

When we started as LoveHeart, our mission was clear. We aimed to tackle two critical challenges in early childhood education:

1. Reducing Burnout and Workload Pressures: Excessive regulatory documentation often leaves teachers overwhelmed, leaving little time for what matters most—engaging with children and nurturing their learning.
   
   
2. Empowering Teachers: By streamlining administrative tasks, we enable our remarkable educators to build their capabilities and create better outcomes for every child.

With LoveHeart, 93% of educators reported that, as a result of using our platform, they could create better outcomes for children. Yet, even as we celebrated these successes, we realised our identity no longer captured the full spectrum of our vision. While LoveHeart was about simplifying documentation and enhancing teacher capability, our broader ambition has always been to give every child an extraordinary start to life. This evolution called for a new name and a fresh look—one that encompasses both our heritage and our future aspirations.

The name Mana was chosen with great care. In many cultures, “mana” signifies an unseen power or energy—a force that can be given, shared, and nurtured. For us, it pays homage to the rich culture and vibrant communities we serve and celebrates the incredible energy that teachers and families invest in shaping young lives.
